Racing games are the classic TikTok LIVE game: one gift and someone overtakes. They are easy to explain and exciting to watch, even for viewers who just arrived. Here are four very different races.
Animal Run: the country race
Pick 2 to 8 countries and give each one a gift. When viewers send that gift, the country's animal sprints ahead. Viewers gift for their own country, which makes it a favourite for international audiences. It runs fully automatically.
Crowd Race
Viewers comment to join and appear on the start line as 3D runners with their names and photos, up to 100 at once. Gifts are power-ups: boost, ultra speed, jetpack, kart, motorbike, rocket, or lightning that stuns the leaders.
Grand Prix
An F1-style race: viewers comment to get a car in team colours, five red lights start the race and a timing tower shows positions and gaps. Gifts give DRS, nitro, fresh tyres, a turbo, rockets or an oil slick that spins the cars behind.
Hill Rush
A single car climbs ever steeper hills and only moves when viewers send gifts for gas, nitro, jump and fuel. Viewers keep the run alive together. Nine vehicles and six maps.
