How it works
A giant glossy watermelon sits on a cutting board on a cosy kitchen counter. Every gift, every “join” comment, likes and follows put colourful rubber bands with the viewer's name around its middle.
The more bands, the more the melon pinches in at the waist like an hourglass — it creaks, the rind cracks, juice seeps out and it trembles harder and harder. Every melon has a hidden strength: nobody knows which band will burst it.
The viewer whose band goes over the limit POPS it: a slow-motion explosion into juicy chunks, seeds and flying bands, juice splashes onto the screen and their profile photo and name fill it — “@name POPPED THE MELON!”. Then a new melon drops onto the board.
Features
Band Man, a comic character with a huge mustache and rubber gloves, puts the bands on by hand, sneakily pulls them back off, sweats as the tension rises, gets blown back at the pop and claps for the next melon (can be switched off).
Gift actions: add bands ×1 / ×5 / ×20, band rain, giant hammer (pops it in one hit), scissors (cut bands off), duct tape (makes it stronger), remove band — pick any gift and amount for each, any other gift adds bands by its coins.
Viewers try to pop it or save it; golden band (3×) for adding bands in a row; a GIANT melon every 6th round; watermelon, pumpkin, melon or mixed.
